Expeditions Vol. 1 is the first chapter of a musical project imagined by Max Season. Designed as an intimate exploration of ancient cultures and civilizations, this volume brings together five tracks inspired by Mesoamerican sonorities, reinterpreted through modern musical codes.

Each piece draws a sensitive cartography, rituals, spaces, visions that belong to no specific era, yet still resonate today. Expeditions does not aim to reconstruct a culture, but rather to move through its shadows, its colors, its symbols, and transform them into contemporary emotions. The tracks are composed using traditional instruments, sampled into virtual instruments created by sampling pioneer Eduardo Tarilonte, then reshaped with modern compositional techniques.
